STEVE & ZURY BRADCOVICH
WCC Senior Pastor Steve and Zury have been in ministry for over thirty years and have raised five children, Steven, Joseph, Daniel, Ariel, and Isabella. They personally started and pastored nine churches all over the world while overseeing more than 400 churches grow as missionaries in Guatemala and the Soviet Union. They have been in Alexandria ever since they planted Washington Community Church in 2001.
Zury loves to help people in need and spend time with her children. If Steve’s not in the church office or at home, you’ll find him hiking through the woods or buried in a good book. The biggest passion they have is to show the world that Jesus is real.
The Greene family started attending WCC soon after being stationed at Ft. Belvoir in 2002, but in 2005 they left for the Sergeant’s Major Academy in Texas. They returned to WCC in 2013 when Rich retired from the Army after 25 years. Rich oversees the administration of WCC, small groups and operations. Rich is a leader with the Mighty Oaks Warrior Program, helping combat veterans deal with reintegration, PTSD and combat stress by showing them they have hope through Christ. He’s a huge Ohio State fan who’s favorite coffee is Starbucks Christmas blend. Rich and his wife Michelle have four kids and a cat named Star Command.
Children’s Pastor / Kingdom Warriors Director & Senior Instructor
Eric has the perfect mix of talents: He loves to work with kids and he’s a 5th degree black belt in taekwondo. He joined WCC in 2010 after stepping down as the senior pastor of his church in Richmond. He met Emily while he was in college and now the Maddens have a son and daughter who are following in their parent’s footsteps: they are all taekwondo black belts, all love music and singing, and share a love for the orange and purple of Clemson football.
Eric’s focus on Kingdom Warriors parallels his work as a children’s pastor, and allows him to show the defensive nature of martial arts while demonstrating the love of God to his students
Pastor James started as a pastor in Richmond in 2001, which he pursued while working as a logistician in the Army. In his 2007 deployment he pastored the on-base congregation in Tikrit, Iraq. James has many military and civilian accolades and is always learning, recently attaining his Masters in Pastoral Counseling. He and his wife Brenda have four grown children and serve at WCC while James finishes his final few years in the Army. You can always get on James’ good side with a packet (or pound) of gummi bears or a complement on his superhero wardrobe collection.
Youth Leader / Service Director
Joseph came on staff at WCC in February of 2016 after graduating from Hillsong Austrailia’s three year college program. He oversees the IMPACT youth group and coordinates everything happening in the auditorium on Sundays from lighting and sound, to what happens when and who goes where. If you see it or hear it on stage then he’s involved. Joseph met his wife Brittany at Hillsong and they were married in January 2016. He love’s good strong coffee and embraces the nerdier things in life like anime and video games.
Dream Team Coordinator / Hospitality Leader
Michelle’s skills at creating the right atmosphere for events made her a natural fit to lead the hospitality team. That ability to cast vision to others naturally merged into growing WCC’s other Dream Teams and developing the template for other leaders to use. She loves early mornings with a set of colored pencils and her journaling Bible, learning more about the amazing grace of God, and taking care of Chris, Canyon, Dottie, Dillon and her husband Rich.
